Who is Noen Eubanks?
Noen Eubanks is an American TikTok star and social media personality. He has garnered fame for posting videos with a definitive comedic undertone on his self-titled TikTok account. A native of Georgia, Eubanks began his journey towards social media stardom in 2016. At the time, TikTok had not still merged with Musical.ly. He also became active on Instagram during this period. In the ensuing years, he has garnered significant followings on both platforms. He also has a YouTube channel and a Twitter account. Despite setting up his YouTube channel in 2013, he has posted only a few videos on it to date. Eubanks has partnered up with Spreadshirt, a company that produces and sells customised T-shirts and T-shirt prints, to sell his own merchandise through them.
Rise to Fame
When Noen Eubanks began posting on TikTok, it was still known as Musical.ly. The app was originally launched in 2014 by Chinese mobile application developers Alex Zhu and Luyu Yang. In November 2017, Bytedance, a Chinese company that already owned TikTok, purchased Musical.ly and merged the two competing applications under the brand name of the former. It took a short while for the users to get accustomed to the changes brought about by the merger. Ultimately, however, everything went back to normal, and TikTok started attracting a great amount of traffic.
Much of Eubanks’ social media fame came through his activities on TikTok. He posts videos on a regular basis, and his content has a definitive comedic side to it. His first TikTok video was a duet with @shmneeb. In his next video, he performed a duet set to Aqua’s ‘Barbie Girl’ with @kellycherryboom. In his third video, he stares right at the camera while Joji’s ‘Slow Dancing in the Dark’ can be heard in the background. He has performed duets with the likes of @coloradoboi, @bricknermon, @pyrodoge, @nickycigz, @the.vanity.bear, @kaj.draj, @sansmoney, @werewolf6414, @rileycolley, @liiias._, and @hantaraki. He has performed to the music of some of the best musical acts of today, including Twin Cabins, Sub Urban, Post Malone, Mike Posner, Justice, Paul Anka, El Gringo, Starlite Singers, Lana Del Rey, Bhad Bhabie, Maty Noyes, Carnage, and Wes Walker & Dyl. Over the years, Eubanks has accumulated hundreds of thousands of followers and millions of views on the platform.
The oldest photograph on his Instagram handle was posted on January 30, 2016. He posted his first Instagram selfie on March 27, 2017. In February 2018, Eubanks, along with several schoolmates, attended the Georgia Theatre Conference and shared two video collages from the event on his Instagram. However, he predominantly uploads selfies on the platform. Despite not being as active as he is on TikTok, he still has managed to garner around 250k subscribers on the platform.
Eubanks created his YouTube channel on June 23, 2013, and has uploaded only a few videos to date. The first two videos are incredibly short (two seconds and four seconds respectively) and are comprised of Eubanks staring at the camera the entire length of the videos. As of May 2019, he has over 15k subscribers.
