Natalie Martinez started modeling at the age of 15. While in high school, she gave an audition for J.Lo's new clothing line. She ultimately beat over 5000 girls and got selected as a model for the brand. In 2006, she was cast in the main role of Michelle Miller in the soap opera ‘Fashion House’. The following year, she appeared as Pilar Martin in the telenovela ‘Saints & Sinners’. Martinez made her film debut in 2008 when she appeared in the action thriller ‘Death Race’.
From 2010 to 2011, she played Det. Ariana Sanchez in the crime series ‘Detroit 1-8-7’. During this time, the actress also appeared in the movies ‘Shortland Street’ and ‘Magic City Memoirs’ as well as in two episodes each of ‘Sons of Tucson’ and 'El Dorado'. She next played Det. Jamie Lovato in ‘CSI: NY’ from 2012 to 2013. During this time, Martinez also had roles in the films ‘The Baytown Outlaws’ and ‘End of Watch’. Soon after this, she was cast in the main role of Deputy Linda Esquivel in the TV drama ‘Under the Dome’.
In 2015, the American actress played Jessica "Jess" Murphy in the mystery TV series ‘Secrets and Lies’. That year, she also did the movie ‘Self/less’. She began playing Alicia Mendez in the series ‘Kingdom’ the same year. After this, Martinez was cast in the films ‘The Land’ and ‘Message from the King’. She appeared in two episodes of ‘From Dusk till Dawn: The Series’ in 2016. The following year, she played Theresa Murphy in the procedural drama ‘APB’. She began appearing as Reece in the sci-fi thriller series ‘The Crossing’ in 2018.
