Mitch Hughes’ YouTube journey started in 2008 by collaborating with close friends and social media stars Jerome and Matt. Together, they started the channel ‘AwesomeSauceFilms’ on YouTube and soon their videos started gaining popularity. Most of the videos of this channel are episodes of the game ‘Call of Duty’ with hilarious commentaries. Two other Youtubers, named Matt and Zak joined ‘AwesomeSauceFilms’ later on, but by 2012, they were quite saturated working on ‘Call of Duty’ episodes and intended to shift focus to ‘Minecraft’. Mitch Hughes and Jerome then joined hands with YouTuber Adam Dahlberg, famously known by his alias ‘SkyDoesMinecraft’. The three of them worked together for the channel ‘Team Crafted’, which focused on ‘Minecraft’. Soon, he started the channel ‘BajanCanadian’ and posted many ‘Minecraft: Hunger Games’ videos, which became quite popular. His efforts paid off eventually and the channel ‘BajanCanadian’ earned a massive number of followers. He often collaborates with good friend and YouTuber, Jerome, for ‘Hunger Games’ videos. The name ‘BajanCanadian’ was inspired from the fact that Mitch Hughes is a Canadian raised in Barbados. Residents of Barbados are either called Barbadians or Bajans.

Mitch Hughes has often collaborated with other great YouTube personalities like Jerome and Matt to provide great content. This attitude of his has helped Mitch Hughes earn a lot of brownie points, especially among his fans, since it is a rare sight to see one famous personality team up with the other for work.

Mitch Hughes was born on March 3, 1994. The place of his birth has been the subject of debate among his admirers. While some claim that Mitch Hughes was born in Montreal, Canada, a few others say that he was born in the Caribbean island of Barbados. However, it is confirmed that he was raised in Barbados till he was in fourth grade and later shifted base to America. Mitch Hughes has three siblings: Connor, Kyleigh and Marley (step-sister). He is in a relationship with Jessica, who’s often seen in many of his ‘Instagram’ and ‘YouTube’ videos. He met YouTube personality Jerome when he was in fourth grade. Both of them collaborate quite often to work on various YouTube videos and even stay together.
