Michelle Velasquez Biography

Michelle was born Michelle Julia Borquez, in 1985, in Campbell, California. She went to 'Leigh High School' in San Diego, California. The celebrity wife is a private person and has never revealed much about her parents and her early years. Michelle came under the media spotlight only after her relationship with the mixed martial arts star was made public.

Michelle and Cain had dated for some time before the two decided to walk the aisle. Unlike many other celebrities, they were quite open about their relationship. Cain made his relationship with Michelle public for the first time in June 2007. Michelle was regularly seen at Cain’s fights after their relationship was revealed to the media.

The couple soon moved in together. They had their daughter, Coral Love Velasquez, on May 6, 2009. The arrival of their first child strengthened their love further. Cain decided to give their relationship a legal stamp and become the best father in the world to his little angel. He later shared the story of how he, a tough fighter, had asked for his lady love’s hand. Cain had proposed to Michelle right after the 'Ultimate Fighting Championship 110.' On February 23, 2010, Cain had taken her to Bondi Beach in New South Wales, Australia, for a romantic walk. He had already planned the proposal beforehand. In fact, it was a prank he had planned for that momentous day. Michelle later revealed she had found Cain a little weird that day. He wanted to propose to her on his knees but did not want it to be dull and boring. So, he had faked an injury and gotten down on his knees as if he had hurt his ankle. He had not proposed marriage right away but had started murmuring something. He had then got serious and told Michelle how much he loved her and wanted to raise a family with her. Michelle, on the other hand, was startled by the act. However, she had laughed her heart out. She had accepted the proposal but had been amused to see Cain’s terrible acting skills. The two decided to get married the following year.

Michelle and Cain got married on May 28, 2011, in Tempe, Arizona. She looked beautiful in her ruffled sweetheart neckline wedding gown. Their daughter, too, graced the ceremony. The mother–daughter duo twinned in ruffled dresses on the wedding day. Coral was the ring bearer at the wedding. Cain and Michelle welcome their second child, their son, in 2018.

Being a celebrity wife is not easy. Cain has always acknowledged Michelle’s contribution to his career. Due to professional commitments, the fighter has to stay away from his family quite often. Michelle’s sense of understanding and compatibility with her husband has helped Cain focus on his career. Although she usually stays away from the limelight, she has always cheered her husband in his fights. Unlike Cain, Michelle is not too active on social media. She does own pages on 'Instagram' and ‘Twitter' but rarely posts anything. Her 'Instagram' page contains numerous pictures of her and her family. More recently, Michelle has published a few pictures of her newborn. In the past, Cain had revealed that he had dated two girls in college before Michelle came into his life.
