Well known as BlastphamousHD or The Comedian Gamer, he is quite popular for his funny reactions to videos on YouTube, his gameplays, skits, vlogs on gameplay footage, music parodies and video gaming voiceover dubs. At one point of time, he ran four popular YouTube channels—Maurice Barnett, BlastphamousHD Gaming, BlastphamousHD Pranks, and BlastphamousHD TV, the last of which has been suspended now for violation of community regulations. In March 2016, he was attacked by YouTuber PsiSyndicate for his rude comments and his poor-stricken lifestyle which was depicted in his videos. However, Barnett's fans severely criticized PsiSyndicate, and both the YouTubers later settled the matter on DramaAlert.
  • YouTuber Minnesotaboyy also attacked Barnett at the VidCon 2016 for his comment on him prior to the event. Minnesotaboyy even gave a death threat to Barnett and his family. Barnett was also criticized for the video where he described that due to his waxed head he faced many embarrassing incidents that were “close to being raped.”
