Luna Blaise Biography

Luna Blaise began her career at the age of five, taking up assignments in modelling and commercials. She has worked with known brands like Dunkin Hines, KFC, Target, Juicy Couture, Gap and McDonalds. In 2008, she appeared in a cameo role in the film ‘Vicious Circle’. She got her breakthrough role in 2013, when she portrayed the character of young Nina in James Franco’s indie art film ‘Memoria’. In 2014, she was offered a recurring role in the ABC television series ‘Fresh Off the Boat’.

In 2013, she appeared in internet celebrity Jacob Sartorius’ music video ‘Sweatshirt’ as his love interest. The video garnered a lot of attention and along with much fan following she had to face threats from Jacob Sartorius’s fans as rumour had spread that they were dating. However, she dealt with the speculations with a lot of grace and this almost instantly increased her popularity. In her upcoming career, she aspires to work with Tim Burton, Drew Barrymore and Steven Spielberg. In 2016, she has won the Young Artist Award for the category Recurring young Actress (14 – 21).

Luna Blaise was born on 1st October 2001 at Los Angeles, California. Her father, Paul Boyd, is a movie director and mother, Angelyna Martinez, is an actress. Her parents noticed that she had a natural flair for acting since early childhood. From as young as when she could talk, she would recite storylines and create fictional characters. She also liked to dress up and play drama. When she was five years, she began doing commercials and eventually moved on to the acting. Interested in acting from such a young age, her favourite pastime is to watch various aspects of a film, like trailer, behind the scene clips, documentaries, making videos and full-length movies as well.
