Leigh Francis is a well-known stand-up comedian, actor, producer, director, writer, and voice artist. He is best known for developing Channel 4's hit show ‘Bo' Selecta!’ as well as for portraying the character of Keith Lemon in several shows including ‘Whatever I Want’, ‘Keith Lemon's LemonAid’, ‘Lemon La Vida Loca’, ‘The Keith Lemon Sketch Show’ and ‘The Keith & Paddy Picture Show’, to name a few. Currently, Francis is portraying Keith in ‘Through the Keyhole’ and ‘Celebrity Juice.’ Other contributions of the comedian include the shows ‘The Buzz’, ‘The Frank Skinner Show’ and ‘Loose Women’. All these projects of Francis have catapulted him to great heights of fame. Today, he is not only adored by innumerable people, but has also got hundreds of celebrity fans. The English comedian even has an incredible fan base on Twitter. As of July 2017, Leigh Francis has got about 3.15m followers on the social networking platform. Career
Leigh Francis began his career through Paramount’s TV series ‘Dom and Kirk's Nite O' Plenty’. His second role on TV was as Barry Gibson on Channel 4's ‘Popworld’. Francis also did shorts in the series ‘Stars in Their Houses’. He then appeared in the television show ‘The Buzz’ in 1998.
His major television breakthrough came in the year 2002 when he was asked by Channel 4 to create a show based on his TV characters. Francis agreed and this ultimately gave rise to ‘Bo' Selecta!’. After this, the comedian appeared on ‘The Frank Skinner Show’. He subsequently produced a new show based on his television character of Keith Lemon. This show was named ‘Keith Lemon's Very Brilliant World Tour’ and it aired in April 2008. This show was a success.
Then the comedian cum actor made another show ‘Celebrity Juice’ again featuring Keith Lemon. This show is running till now and has aired several hit seasons. Then in the year 2009, Francis appeared in the series ‘Loose Women’. Three years later, he hosted ‘Keith Lemon's LemonAid’ as well as ‘Take Me Out: Celebrity Special’. In 2012, he started his new show ‘Lemon La Vida Loca’. This show ran for almost a year. After this, he did ‘Through the Keyhole’ which is running till date. Then from 2015 to 2016, the English comedian appeared in the show ‘The Keith Lemon Sketch Show’. This was followed by a new show named ‘The Keith & Paddy Picture Show’ in 2017.

Personal Life
Leigh Francis was born on 30 April 1973 in Beeston, Leeds, West Riding of Yorkshire, England. He was raised on a council estate located in Leeds. Francis studied at Farnley Park High School (today known as The Farnley Academy). He then attended Leeds College of Art and earned a degree in graphic designing. In 2002, the comedian got married to Jill Carter. Seven years later, a baby girl was born to them. The couple named this baby ‘Matilda’. Currently, the comedian resides in North London with his family.
