Krista Allen is an American stand-up comedian and actress, best known for playing Billie Reed in ‘NBC’ television network’s daytime soap opera ‘Days of Our Lives.’ She is also famous for playing Jenna Avid (from 2000 to 2001) in the popular action drama series ‘Baywatch.’ After making her acting debut in 1994, Allen went on to play important roles in films such as ‘Anger Management’ and ‘The Final Destination.’ As a stand-up comedian, she has headlined many shows across Los Angeles. Allen has also worked as a model and has been featured in magazines, such as ‘Interviu,’ ‘Newlook,’ and ‘Maxim.’ In 2005, she was named in ‘Maxim’ magazine’s ‘Hot 100’ list. She also had a T-shirt line called ‘Superexcellent’ which was maintained for many years.

Childhood & Early Life
Krista Allen was born on April 5, 1971, in Ventura, California, USA, to Dale and Katherine Allen. She was raised in Texas where she attended the ‘Austin Community College District’ (ACC). She later transferred to the ‘University of Texas’ from where she graduated with a degree in education.
Allen wanted to pursue teaching as career and hence started working as a kindergarten teacher. However, she changed her mind and decided to try her luck in the field of entertainment. She landed a job as a promotional model for ‘Texas Bikini Team’ in 1992. Subsequently, she returned to California and started pursuing a career in acting. As a youngster, she became inspired by the works of Lucille Ball and Gilda Radner.

Career
Krista Allen made her acting debut in 1994, when she was cast to play the title role in a series of eight erotic television movies titled ‘Emmanuelle.’ In 1995, she played Shelley in the television soap opera ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ and then played Mrs. Fleisig in one of the episodes of the science-fiction series ‘Deadly Games.’
She received her breakthrough role in 1996, when she was roped in to play Billie Reed in ‘Days of Our Lives.’ She portrayed the character from 1996 to 1999, appearing in 41 episodes in the long-running daytime soap opera. In 1996, she was also seen in other TV series, namely ‘High Tide,’ ‘Silk Stalkings,’ ‘Weird Science,’ ‘Diagnosis: Murder,’ ‘Married... with Children,’ and ‘Pacific Blue.’ She was also seen in a couple of films titled ‘Raven’ (direct-to-video) and ‘Rolling Thunder’ (TV film).
She made her theatrical film debut in 1997, when she appeared in the Tom Shadyac-directed fantasy comedy film ‘Liar Liar.’ In the same year, she was also seen in a horror film titled ‘The Haunted Sea.’
Allen landed a recurring role in the TV series ‘Baywatch’ in 2000. She played Jenna Avid from 2000 to 2001, appearing in 26 episodes of the popular series. In 2000, she appeared in several other TV series, including ‘The X-Files,’ ‘18 Wheels of Justice,’ and ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.’ She also played a minor role in the American comedy-drama film ‘Sunset Strip.’
She reprised the role of Kristy Hopkins when she appeared in a couple of episodes of ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’ in 2001. In the same year, she was seen in other television series such as ‘Arliss,’ ‘Inside Schwartz,’ ‘Spin City,’ and ‘Charmed.’ She also played the lead role in the 2001 comedy film ‘Totally Blonde.’
In 2002, she made guest appearances in four television series, including the famous sitcom ‘Friends’ in which she played Mable. She was also seen in a TV movie titled ‘Zero Effect’ and played minor roles in a couple of feature films, namely ‘Confessions of a Dangerous Mind’ and ‘Face Value.’
She played Stacy alongside Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson in the 2003 Peter Segal-directed comedy film ‘Anger Management.’ In the same year, she was also seen in six TV series, including the popular sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men.’
In 2004, she played Maddy in the Roger Paradiso-directed film ‘Tony n' Tina's Wedding,’ which was adapted from a play of the same name. She was then seen playing Tiara Benedette in ‘Shut Up and Kiss Me!’ In the same year, she was also seen in a couple of TV series, namely ‘The Screaming Cocktail Hour’ and ‘I'm with Her.’
In 2005, she was seen in three TV series apart from playing Tuffy in the John Gulager-directed horror comedy film ‘Feast.’ The film premiered at the ‘Chicago International Film Festival’ on October 14, 2005.
In 2006, Allen landed another recurring role as Bridget Keller in the comedy-drama television series ‘What About Brian.’ She played Keller from 2006 to 2007, appearing in 11 episodes. In 2006, she was also seen in series such as ‘Out of Practice’ and ‘Freddie.’
She played Eve in four episodes of ‘The Starter Wife’ in 2008. In the same year, she played Hannah in the drama crime film ‘The Third Nail.’ She also played Lucinda in a film titled ‘Meet Market’ and appeared as Victoria in one of the episodes of ‘ABC’ network’s television series ‘Cashmere Mafia.’
In 2009, she appeared in three feature films, including the famous supernatural horror film ‘The Final Destination.’ She also played Julia Rist in the NBC-aired action drama series ‘The Philanthropist’ and then appeared in a couple of episodes of ‘ABC’ network’s ‘Dirty Sexy Money.’
She was cast to play the recurring role of Jennifer Bell in the Canadian drama series ‘The L.A. Complex,’ in 2012. In 2014, she was seen in three television series namely ‘Hawaii Five-0,’ ‘Mistresses,’ and ‘Castle.’ In 2015, she played Lydia Marlowe in nine episodes of the TV sitcom ‘Significant Mother.’ In 2018, she played Jackie in a TV movie titled ‘Party Mom.’
Family & Personal Life
Krista Allen married Justin Moritt on September 14, 1996. Allen and Moritt were blessed with a son named Jakob Nolan Moritt on July 12, 1997. They separated in 1999.
After divorcing Justin Moritt, Allen started dating an Iranian rapper named Mams Taylor whom she married on October 10, 2010. Allen and Taylor separated in April 2011 following which they filed for divorce on February 12, 2012, at ‘Los Angeles County Superior Court.’
