Kirsten Storms is an American actress and voice actress, well known for her roles in the Disney Channel movie ‘Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century’ and the soap opera ‘General Hospital’. Born to a famous television personality, she knew that she wanted to be a television actress from a young age. After being discovered by a talent scout, she started her career with television commercials and small TV show roles. As a teenager, she got her breakout lead role as ‘Zenon Kar’ on Disney channel’s ‘Zenon Trilogy.’ Thereafter, she continued to appear in numerous TV shows and movies like ‘Jonny Tsunami’ and ‘Days of Our Lives’, and also found fame as a voiceover artist for the TV series ‘Kim Possible’. She became a series regular on the popular TV show ‘General Hospital’ and continues to work on it to this day. She has battled several health issues like endometriosis, severe depression and weight problems, which have affected her work. She married one of her co-stars but they divorced soon after. She co-parents a child with him.

Childhood & Early Life
Kirsten Renee Storms was born on April 8, 1984, in Orlando, Florida to Karen Storms and Mike Storms. Her father is a famous sportscaster. She has a brother, Austin, a sister, Gretchen, and a stepbrother, Chris.
At the age of five, Kirsten told her parents that she wanted to act in soap operas and convinced them to let her join an acting school, where she was discovered by a talent scout. She was home-schooled since third grade and was tutored on set during her later years.
She was asked to go to a children’s acting camp in New York to hone her acting skills. Her performance at an ‘Off-Broadway’ show was a hit and several agents wanted to represent her. She travelled all across the U.S. auditioning for roles for the next four years.

Career
She started her career with a television commercial for ‘Galoob Baby Doll’.
In 1996, she made her television debut with a role in the TV show ‘Second Noah’ and continued doing small roles in other TV shows alongside her work in commercials.
When she was twelve, her family moved to Los Angeles, California, to seek better opportunities. In 1998, she bagged a recurring role on the hit TV show ‘7th Heaven’.
In 1999, she landed her breakout role of ‘Zenon Kar’ in the Disney channel movie ‘Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century.’ Thereafter, she bagged the part of Belle Black on the hit show ‘Days of Our Lives’ and did TV movies like ‘Jonny Tsunami’ and ‘Love Letters’ too.
She became a popular star on ‘Days of Our Lives’ and was promoted to a major character on the show. She even won several awards for it.
In 2001, she did a sequel to her ‘Zenon’ TV movie titled ‘Zenon: The Zequel’.
In 2002, she made her voiceover debut as the character ‘Bonnie Rockwaller’ on the animated TV series ‘Kim Possible’.
In 2003, she lent her voice to the television film ‘Kim Possible: A Stitch in Time’.
In 2004, she made her last appearance on ‘Days of Our Lives’ and went to portray the role of troubled teenager ‘Betsy’ on the new primetime TV show ‘Clubhouse’. But the show did not last for more than five episodes. She also did a third ‘Zenon’ movie ‘Zenon: Z3’ that year.

In 2005, she did an episode of the hit TV show ‘CSI: Miami’ along with voiceover for ‘Kim Possible: So the Drama’ TV movie. In May, she returned to primetime TV with the role of ‘Maxie Jones’ on the hit show ‘General Hospital’.
In 2007, she guest-starred in several episodes of the ‘General Hospital’ spin-off show ‘General Hospital: Night Shift’.
In 2011, she featured on a reality TV show ‘Dirty Soap’ with her ‘General Hospital’ co-star, Kelly Monaco. In the same year, she was diagnosed endometriosis and she temporarily left ‘General Hospital’. In 2012, she returned to ‘General Hospital’ after an almost year-long break.
In January 2014, she went on maternity leave from ‘General Hospital’ and came back in April. She continues to work on ‘General Hospital’.
In 2015, she did an episode of the web series ‘Winterthorne’.
Family & Personal Life
In September 2007, she was arrested for a DUI. In November, the court ordered her to pay fines of $1,643 and attend ‘Alcoholics Anonymous’ meetings. She was placed on a probation of three years and her driving license was suspended for six months.
In early 2013, she confirmed that she was in a relationship with her ‘General Hospital’ co-star, Brandon Barash. They secretly married in June after he reportedly proposed to her at a gas station in California. In August, they announced that she was pregnant with her first child.
On January 7, 2014, she gave birth to her daughter, Harper Rose Barash. In 2016, she filed for divorce on grounds of irreconcilable differences, but they continue to raise their daughter in an amicable manner.
In early 2017, she took a break from social media to take care of her health. In May, she revealed that she had a boyfriend, Wes. In September, she opened up to her fans about her struggles with severe depression and anxiety, which led to an extreme weight loss.
Her weight gain has been a topic of constant discussion in the media. Fans constantly criticise her for her weight gain and baggy clothing. But she has always stayed positive about her body image.
In 2018, she revealed that she was dating musician, Elias Reidy.
