Katy Elizabeth Mixon is an American actress best known for her role on the CBS sitcom ‘Mike & Molly.’ She began her acting career by playing the role of ‘Calpurnia’ in a stage production of Shakespeare's ‘Julius Caesar’. Since then, she has acted in a number of plays, TV shows, and movies. Mixon appeared in the TV series ‘Eastbound & Down’, ‘Mike & Molly’ and ‘American Housewife’. She also guest-starred in the TV dramas ‘Two and a Half Men’, ‘Wilfred’, ‘Psych’, ‘The Looney Tunes Show’ and ‘Neo Yokio’. Talking about Mixon’s big screen projects, she played supporting roles in the movies ‘The Quiet’, ‘State of Play’ and ‘Four Christmases’. Katy Mixon received her first professional acting opportunity in the year 2001, when she played Calpurnia in a stage production of Shakespeare's ‘Julius Caesar’. Then after moving to Los Angeles, California, she acted in the play ‘American Standard’. Soon after this, she made her debut on big screen by appearing in the thriller movie ‘The Quiet’ in 2005. Then in 2006, she did the short film ‘Zombie Prom’. Two years later, the actress acted in the films ‘Finding Amanda’ and ‘Four Christmases’. During that time, she also appeared in an episode of the TV series ‘My Name Is Earl’.

In the year 2009, Mixon got featured in the drama ‘Two and a Half Men’. The same year, she also joined the cast of ‘Eastbound & Down’ as a series regular. She acted in the movies ‘The Informers’, ‘State of Play’ and ‘All About Steve’ the same year. Mixon then was cast as Victoria Flynn in the drama series ‘Mike & Molly’. She then appeared in the drama ‘Wilfred’ as well as in the films ‘Drive Angry’ and ‘Take Shelter’ in 2011.

The following year, she did a short film named ‘A Little Something on the Side’. Then the American star appeared in the dramas ‘Psych’ and ‘The Looney Tunes Show’.
