Her onscreen acting debut happened in 2007 with Dan Goldman’s direct-to-video horror film The Curse of the Black Dahlia. The same year, she appeared in the crime thriller drama Hacia la oscuridad (Towards Darkness) and another drama Steam. In 2008 and 2009, she appeared in a couple of short films Knocked Down and Puke in My Mouth. The year 2009 also marked her entry on the television screen with the supernatural series Ghost Whisperer wherein she played Cheryl in an episode.

This was followed by a series of single episode appearances in various television series. These include Numbers (2010), The Unknown (2012), Castle (2012), Where Would We Be (2012) and Mob City (2013). Meanwhile, she also continued to act in films like Wedding Day (2012), Man Camp (2013), Demon Legacy (2014) and Hot (2016). The series was critically appreciated and inspired a follow up series The Haunting of Bly Manor which was based on Henry James 1898 novella The Turn of the Screw. The series premiered on Netflix in 2020 and saw the return of several actors, including Siegal, from the first series. Their next work together is the supernatural horror web television series Midnight Mass (Netflix, 2021).
