Julianna Luisa Margulies is an American actress as well as producer. She gained wide recognition after portraying the character of Carol Hathaway in NBC's medical drama ‘ER’. After this, she played lead roles in other shows like ‘The Good Wife’ and ‘Canterbury's Law’. Besides these, Margulies also appeared in the drama series ‘The Grid’, ‘The Sopranos’ and ‘Homicide: Life on the Street’. Julianna Margulies was born as Julianna Luisa Margulies on June 8, 1966 in Spring Valley, New York, USA. She has two sisters, Rachel and Alexandra Margulies. Her mother Francesca was a eurythmy teacher and a ballet dancer while her father, Paul, was a philosopher, writer and a famous Madison Avenue advertising executive.
