JayDaYoungan Biography

JayDaYoungan entered the world of music at a very young age. After two years of putting in efforts to build a career as a rapper, he finally began to enjoy success. With time, he started to garner millions of streams across various major social media platforms. He released his first mixtape titled ‘Ruffwayy’ in the year 2017, at the age of 18. His song 'Interstate' achieved the milestone of 4 million views on YouTube within a month.

Following the success of 'Ruffway,' Scott released the mixtape 'The Real Jumpman 23,' which had 13 tracks, including the songs 'Sliding Freestyle' and 'Muddy Situation.' Thereafter, he released mixtapes 'Wake Up' and 'Taking Off.' The latter featured rappers 'FG Famous' and 'NBA 3Three.'  With over 19.3 million streams on Spotify as of January 2020, 'Elimination' from the mixtape '23' became his first nationwide hit song. Following the success of the mixtape '23,' he came up with the mixtape 'Forever 23,' including the tracks "Thot Thot" and "Purge", which garnered millions of streams on Spotify and got him more international recognition.
 
 

In 2019, he release the mixtape Endless Pain, which included the tracks Repo and War Ready. Thereafter, he collaborated with  rapper Yungeen Ace on the mixtape Can't Speak On It, which included the songs Opps and Creep Behind. It was followed by the mixtape Misunderstood, which included the single 23 Island, and had features from Boosie Badazz, YFN Lucci, FG Famous, Lil Durk, and JetSoo.

JayDaYoungan was born on July 15, 1998 in Bogalusa, Louisiana, USA. Information regarding his parents and siblings is not available. 

He dropped out of high school to pursue a career as a rapper. Even though he was quite young back then, he was confident enough to quit his studies to follow his passion. He has collaborated with Young Boy Never Broke Again, FG Famous, and Scotty Cain in his career so far. The rapper shared his first ever post on Instagram in February 2017 with the aim of promoting his single ‘Spinning.’

He was romantically linked to Therealjordanb. On June 5, 2020, the couple welcomed their son.

Javorius Tykies Scott died in a shooting incident on July 27, 2022, at Bogalusa, Louisiana, U.S. The exact cause of the shooting is still not known.
