Javi Luna is a Spanish actor as well as singer who is known for his portrayal of Felipe in the Argentinean Disney Channel show “Violetta” and also for featuring in the musical series ‘Dreamland’. As a singer, he has released many covers as well as his own original compositions on YouTube. Born in Madrid as the youngest of four kids, Luna began acting in school where he was a part of many prominent plays. He also learnt to play the guitar and the piano as a child. Before becoming famous, he worked as an Abercrombie and Fitch model and soon landed roles in Spanish films and television shows. His acting skills eventually earned him work in the American entertainment industry as well. Today, Luna has emerged as one of the most talented international actors in US. His singing talent is equally admired, especially on YouTube where he has garnered over a hundred thousand subscribers.   • Before kicking off his acting career, Javi Luna worked as a model for the American clothing line Abercrombie and Fitch. He made his acting debut in the 2014 movie ‘Cenizas’ that starred Jorge Tejerina as the protagonist who travels to his native village and ends up in a state of anxiety and introspection. That year, the actor also featured in the satirical Australian comedy ‘Dreamland’. Set inside the offices of a government organization, the show follows the professional lives of the members of a tight-knit team.
  • Also in 2014, Luna began playing the role of Felipe in the Argentinean Disney Channel show “Violetta”. The show revolves around a musically talented teenage girl who returns to her native city of Buenos Aires with her father after living in Europe for many years, navigating the trials and challenges of growing up. Developed by Disney Channel Latin America, EMEA and the production company Pol-ka, the show featured Martina Stoessel, Jorge Blanco, Mercedes Lambre, Pablo Espinosa, Diego Domínguez, Diego Ramos and Clara Alonso in lead roles. Each episode of ‘Violetta’ features original musical numbers from various musical genres such as country and pop music.
  • The year 2015 saw Luna in the short film ‘Safari’. Written and directed by Yayo Herrero, the flick is about the brutal violence that occurs on a regular day at an American high school. Besides Luna, the short film starred several other talented actors including Maikel Batista, Miguel Espada, Mario Castellanos, Joey Jarossi and Helen Kennedy.
  • During 2015 and 2016, the actor made guest appearances in the episodes "Cárceles y caminos, hacen amigos" and "El león no es como lo pintan" of the show ‘Como dice el dicho.’ This was followed by his performance in ‘Five @ 305’. Also starring Giselle Torres, Christian Harb, Alejandro Quintero and Fernanda de la Garza, the show is about five teen roommates in Miami, learning about love, friendship and dreams. Directed by Angelica Torres, ‘Five @ 305’ began premiering on Primo TV in 2018.
