Jaime Murray is a British model and actress. She has gained prominence for portraying Stacie Monroe in the BBC series ‘Hustle’, Lila West in the Showtime series ‘Dexter’, Gaia in the Starz miniseries ‘Spartacus: Gods of the Arena’, Olivia Charles in The CW series ‘Ringer’, Fiona/the Black Fairy in the ABC series ‘Once Upon a Time’, and Antoinette in The CW series ‘The Originals’. Her name was inspired by Lindsay Wagner's character Jaime Sommers in the 1970s television series ‘The Bionic Woman’. After graduating from Drama Centre London, Murray made her screen debut in an episode of ITV’s ‘The Bill’. She had her cinematic debut in 2005, portraying a saleswoman in the science fiction thriller ‘Animal’. Known for her dark hair and porcelain-white skin, she was nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television for her performance in ‘Dexter’.

Born on July 21, 1976, in Hammersmith, London, England, Jaime Murray is one of the two daughters of Billy Murray and Elaine Murray. Her sister’s name is Lizzie. She also has a half-brother and a half-sister from her father’s previous marriage.
Her father, Billy Murray, is an English actor known for his portrayal of Johnny Allen in BBC One’s soap opera ‘EastEnders’ (2005-2006), for which he received the British Soap Award for Best Villain in 2006.
She found out that she has dyslexia shortly prior to her A Levels examination. After graduating high school, she attended the London School of Economics, pursuing degrees in philosophy and psychology but eventually dropped out. Later, she enrolled at Drama Centre London, graduating in 2000.

Career
In 1996, Jaime Murray found herself under the spotlight for the first time when she mimed the lyrics in the original video of Stretch & Vern's dance track 'I'm Alive'.
Besides being an actress, Murray is also a model. At one point, she was part of commercial campaigns for Debenhams department store. Signed to Models 1 in London, she was featured on magazines like ‘GQ,’ ‘Mayfair,’ ‘FHM,’ ‘Hello!,’ ‘Cosmopolitan,’ and ‘OK!’
In 2001, she debuted on the small screen in an episode of the police procedural drama ‘The Bill’. She subsequently appeared in a series of small roles in various TV shows before being hired to portray Stacie Monroe in crime-drama ‘Hustle’. In 2009, she was cast in the short-lived The CW teen-drama ‘The Beautiful Life: TBL’.
Between 2010 and 2014, Murray appeared in 15 episodes of Syfy network’s ‘Warehouse 13’, portraying Helena G. Wells, a character who serves as both the enemy and the ally of the protagonists.
She portrayed the recurring character Gaia in four episodes of Starz’ historical miniseries ‘Spartacus: Gods of the Arena’. In The CW’s ‘Ringer’ (2010-12), she portrayed Olivia Charles, the business partner of the self-made millionaire Andrew Martin (Ioan Gruffudd).

Major Works
In the second season of ‘Dexter’, Jaime Murray portrayed Lila West, who serves as Dexter Morgan’s Narcotics Anonymous sponsor. As the season progresses, she emerges as the primary antagonist. West is a sociopath and believes that Dexter is her soulmate. She and Dexter get into a deeply physical relationship for a brief period before he comes to recognize her for what she is.

Jaime Murray and American talent manager and entertainment lawyer Bernard "Bernie" Cahill began dating sometime in 2010. In early 2014, they got engaged. The couple married on May 26, 2014.
