Prior to becoming an actress, Jacqueline Obradors worked as a cashier at the Hughes Market in Canoga Park, California. She then stepped into the acting field and first appeared in the 1990 drama series ‘Parker Lewis Can't Lose’. She then appeared in the movie ‘Soldier Boyz’ and the TV flick ‘Problem Child 3’. In 1996, she appeared in an episode of ‘Murder She Wrote’, ‘The John Larroquette Show’ and ‘Sliders’. Two years later, the actress played Angelica in the movie ‘Six Days, Seven Nights’.
Soon after this, she starred in the film ‘Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo’ as well as in the drama series ‘Jesse’ and ‘Battery Park’. Then in 2001, Obradors began playing the role of Detective Rita Ortiz in the drama ‘NYPD Blue’. During this time, she also appeared in the movies ‘Tortilla Soup’, ‘A Man Apart’ and ‘Unstoppable ‘ and in the TV programs ‘Freddie’ and ‘George Lopez’.
