Hunter King is an American actress who is popularly known for playing the character of ‘Adriana Masters’ in the family drama TV series ‘Hollywood Heights’. After starting her career as “Haley King,” she later changed her stage name to Hunter King. Interested in acting from an early age, she began her career by appearing in a few theatrical productions. After a period of time, she began taking up minor and guest roles in TV programs. King first appeared in the soap opera ‘The Young and the Restless’ in the recurring role of ‘Summer Newman’ but later became a regular in the show. She has also worked in some films like ‘Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer’ and ‘A Girl Like Her’. Besides acting, the young lady is also skilled at playing the guitar. She has a penchant for singing and songwriting as well.

Hunter King was credited as Haley King in the early part of her career. In her initial years as an actress, she appeared mostly in guest roles or special appearances in television shows like ‘Roswell’, ‘Hidden Hills’, ‘Line of Fire’, and ‘Without a Trace.’ She also appeared in the television movie titled ‘The Nick & Jessica Variety Hour’ as Mouseketeer in 2004. In 2010, she played the role of ‘Alyssa’ in the television movie ‘It Takes A Village’, based on the book titled ‘It Takes a Village: And Other Lessons Children Teach Us’ (1996), published by the then-First Lady of USA, Hillary Clinton.
In 2012, King was cast as ‘Adriana Masters’ in the family drama series ‘Hollywood Heights’. The show was developed by Josh Griffith and featured artistes like Shannon Elizabeth Kane, Brittany Underwood, Robert Adamson, Brandon Bell, Merrin Dungey, and Daphne Ashbrook. She was part of the show for a total of 69 episodes.
In 2012, she landed the role of ‘Summer Newman’, replacing Lindsay Bushman, in ‘The Young and the Restless’. It was a television soap opera, created by Lee Phillip Bell and William J. Bell. King was part of the show until 2018, portraying the character in over 300 episodes. She was nominated five times at the Daytime Emmy Awards in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series and won it twice in 2014 and 2015. She also earned a nomination at the Young Artist Awards for the Best Performance in a Daytime TV Series - Young Actress in 2013.
In 2015, Hunter King was signed for the role of ‘Clementine Hughes’ in the sitcom series ‘Life in Pieces’. The show was created by Justin Adler for the CBS network and featured Colin Hanks, Betsy Brandt, Thomas Sadoski, Zoe Lister-Jones, Dan Bakkedahl, and Angelique Cabral besides King. Her role was initially a recurring one which later became a regular one.
Even though Hunter King is more popular as a TV actress, she has appeared in some short films like ‘Deus Ex Machina’ as ‘Mary’, ‘Our Last Day as Children’ as ‘Addie’, and ‘The Day of Matthew Montgomery’ as a flight attendant. She has also appeared in the comedy film ‘Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer’ and in the 2015 drama film ‘A Girl Like Her’ as ‘Avery Keller’.
