HeyParis was fond of watching 'YouTube' videos before she started her career as a "YouTuber." She mostly watched makeup tutorials, and that inspired her a lot. HeyParis liked the idea of being in front of the camera and sharing her views, opinions, and skills. She then decided to become a vlogger.

HeyParis launched her first 'YouTube' channel in 2007. The channel was initially named 'twiinki.' HeyParis posted her first video on the channel in 2015. However, she did not choose makeup and fashion as the primary content. She mostly posts storytime videos on the channel and sometimes also posts hauls, challenges, pranks, and beauty-related videos. Her storytime video segment highlights her life experiences. The segment showcases her relationships, her experiences of being bullied, and the bittersweet moments of her life. She also posts Q&A videos to let her viewers know more about her. HeyParis once collaborated with her friend Cosmeholics Anonymous. She has also featured her fiancé in a few of her videos. Her mother did a voiceover for one of her makeup tutorials. The channel now has over 700,000 subscribers.

HeyParis was born Paris Grant on July 10, 1993. She was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Not much is known about her family. Her mother is of Jamaican descent. HeyParis has been to two different schools. She was bullied in school for her lean physique.

She is maaried to Cameron Mars. They were blessed with a daughter in 2022.

HeyParis loved playing football. She stopped playing the sport after she broke her finger in one of the matches. She loves to listen to tracks by Beyoncé, Drake, and Bryson Tiller. When not filming videos, HeyParis enjoys coloring. She owns numerous coloring books. The activity also helps her deal with depression and anxiety. HeyParis owns a sports car.
