Childhood & Early Life
Eric Winter was born Eric Barrett Winter, on July 17, 1976, in La Mirada, California, to Gwen and Wayne Winter. Soon after his birth, the family moved to La Puente, California, where Eric spent rest of his growing up years.
During his early childhood, Eric did not show any inclination toward acting. He was, in fact, looking ahead to become a doctor. Following his high school graduation, he enrolled at ‘The University of California, Los Angeles,’ and pursued a degree in psychology.
During his college days, he was looking for some part-time work to earn some additional pocket money. His friends suggested him to try modelling, which he did. With time, he started showing more inclination toward the show business and his earlier goal of becoming a doctor took a backseat. He enrolled in acting classes and began honing his acting skills. Thereafter, he began auditioning for roles in films and television. He made his acting debut in 1999.
