Ed Westwick made his film debut in the year 2006 in ‘Breaking and Entering’. The same year, he appeared on television in shows ‘Doctors Holden’, ‘Casualty’ and ‘Afterlife’. The following year, he did the movie ‘Son of Rambow’ and was also offered his breakthrough role of Chuck Bass for the teen drama series ‘Gossip Girl’. Edward Jack Peter “Ed” Westwick was born on June 28, 1987, in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England. His father, Peter Westwick is a university lecturer while his mother, Carole Westwick is an educational psychologist. Ed has two older brothers. At the age of 6, he started attending drama school. He studied at The Barclay School and then graduated from North Hertfordshire College. After this, he learnt acting from National Youth Theatre in London.

Coming to Ed’s love life, he dated actress Jessica Szohr from 2008 to 2010. It was also in the news that he began a relationship with Phoebe Tonkin in 2011. Again after his breakup, he had another girlfriend named Brittany. He was romantically linked to model Tamara Francesconi. The couple called it quits after dating for 2 years.
