ConnorEatsPants, who has been playing video games since he was kid, focused on making gaming related content to be more productive while gaming, as he grew older and became a regular gamer. He had originally started on YouTube, but later moved to Twitch streaming because he wanted more interactions with his audience. He was equally active on both platforms for a few months, but eventually gravitated towards Twitch because he enjoyed it more due to direct communications with fans.

When he first joined Twitch around 2015, he streamed himself playing Overwatch on Xbox, but only became serious about streaming consistently in March 2016, when the Pokkén Tournament became available worldwide for the Wii U. Mario Maker is another game he often streamed during this period. Because he was still in school, he only streamed two hours each night. His popularity increased after he began streaming Minecraft videos and made friends with fellow Minecraft streamer Jschlatt, who helped him get into the streamer-only Minecraft server SMPLive, co-created by CallMeCarsonLive. He later became part of other survival multiplayer Minecraft servers like SMPEarth and Dream SMP, and participated in Minecraft related events such as Minecraft Mondays and Minecraft Championship. He has over 700K subscribers on Twitch.

While ConnorEatsPants was already a modest Twitch streamer with around 2,000 average viewers, his viewership skyrocketed to over 10,000 after he joined the Dream SMP server as its twenty-sixth member in November 2020. However, he soon announced leaving the server in February 2021 saying that “Dream SMP was getting boring and we needed big drama and big lore”. He was subsequently targeted by many fans of the server claiming that he only became famous on Twitch thanks to his appearance on the server. In July 2021, he had a rare outburst as he lashed out at “dumb Minecraft kids” and told them, “Please don’t ever come back to my livestream”. Incidentally, the very next month, he drew the ire of Minecraft publisher Mojang after accidentally leaking the “Cave and Cliffs” update on live stream.

ConnorEatsPants was born on August 26, 1999 in the United States. While he has mentioned that Connor is the name he was given by his family, he has not revealed his last name. When he was in the eighth grade, during a field trip to the White House with his class, he had caused a brief lockdown after he left his backpack by the fence by mistake. He currently resides in Austin, Texas with his friend and roommate Jschlatt.
