Rise to Fame

Chris first became active on Instagram in March 2015. The caption of his debut picture reads ‘Yo baby wanna come my way’. Over the years, the photograph has garnered about 8 thousand views. After a while, he uploaded his first video on Instagram. It does not have any caption and shows Chris dancing to Drake’s ‘Back to Back’. The video has been watched over 50 thousand times to date.

While he has been posting content since 2015, it was only in early 2018 that his Instagram account started to gain traction. In March 2018, he reached his first 10 thousand subscribers. By May, it had grown ten times and had accumulated 100 thousand subscribers. In early June, he crossed 200 thousand subscribers and by the end of the month, he had garnered another 100 thousand. In August 2018, his subscriber count reached 400 thousand. As of November 2018, he has almost 700 thousand subscribers.

Having grown up in the “Windy City,” Chris was influenced by its rich musical traditions. Chicago is one of the few cities in the United States of America where a thriving hip hop culture still persists.
