Who is Carl Azuz?
Carl Azuz is an American journalist, best known as the host of 'CNN Student News.' He began his career as a news writer for 'CNN,' but later discovered his anchoring skills. That was the turning point of his career. Almost all his original reports have appeared on every 'CNN' platform. Carl now presents the student-oriented show of 'CNN 10,' which has made him the most favorite news anchor of students around the world. He has literally brought significant events and topics straight from high-school classrooms to TV screens. Additionally, Carl's perfect comic timing and witty puns make his show one of the highest-rated news programs of the time.
Carl began his career soon after his graduation. He joined 'CNN' at a lower-rung position, and over time, he moved up to become a news writer for 'CNN International.' Eventually, Carl became an associate producer for 'CNN International.' However, he was yet to find his true calling. Carl realized that his personality was apt for being an anchor. Hence, he decided to start his journey in front of the camera.
In 2008, Carl began to report for the student-oriented 10-minute news segment 'CNN Student News.' The news program primarily catered to a school-based audience and was followed by educators around the world to keep students updated on national and global current events.

Carl was invited by journalism teacher and his former 'CNN Student News' colleague Jack Stenger. The event was named 'Carl Azuz Day.'
