Camille Guaty is an American actress and singer best known for her roles as Maricruz Delgado on the Fox series 'Prison Break', Piper Nielsen on the NBC series 'Las Vegas' and Megan O'Brien on the CBS action-drama 'Scorpion'. She had main roles on the series 'The Help', 'The Nine', 'Cupid' and 'Daytime Divas', apart from recurring roles in 'Family Guy' and 'The Chicago Code'. She had lead roles in the telefilms 'Gotta Kick It Up!' and '30 Days Until I'm Famous'. Her notable film roles were in 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past', 'Crush', 'Cake', 'A Futile and Stupid Gesture' and 'Nappily Ever After'. Rise to Stardom
Camille Guaty's first taste of fame was as a singer after she successfully auditioned for the reality television talent competition 'Popstars' and appeared on the show on the WB Network in 2000. She was among the best 26 contestants who made it to the L.A. Workshop. She became one of ten semifinalists and ended her run on the show as the last contestant not to win a spot as part of the winning girl group 'Eden's Crush'. She finally moved to Los Angeles permanently in 2001 to pursue her career goal of becoming an actress. She had a hard time in the city initially, sleeping in her car during the day outside the Disney building in Burbank. That is how she eventually earned a holding deal with WB and booked her first role on Bob Saget's sitcom 'Raising Dad', in which she portrayed Olivia for 12 episodes in 2001-02. She was cast in the lead role of Daisy Salinas in the Disney Channel Original movie 'Gotta Kick It Up!' in 2002. Since then, she has been acting in movies and television shows regularly.

Later Career
Camille Guaty continued to work on television throughout the 2000s and made guest appearances on TV series such as 'What I Like About You', 'ER', 'The Brothers García', 'American Family', 'Everwood', 'Crossing Jordan', 'Without a Trace', 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation', 'Drop Dead Diva', and more. Her first film appearance was on the 2000 movie 'Chaos Theory', which was followed by small roles in 'Love Object' (2003) and 'Blink' (2007). In 2004, she got the lead role in the short-lived series 'The Help'. The same year, she also played the lead role in the TV movie '30 Days Until I'm Famous'.
In 2005, she earned the recurring role of Maricruz Delgado, the girlfriend of Fernando Sucre, on the drama series 'Prison Break', and appeared in the first three seasons of the show until 2007. Camille Guaty was born on June 28, 1976 in Sunnyvale, California, United States. She is of Cuban and Puerto Rican descent. Her mother's family is originally from the Canary Islands. She attended a Catholic school in California and changed school in the beginning of her sophomore year when her family moved to New Jersey. She completed her BA degree in Communications from Boston University and attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England during a summer. Upon returning to the US, she continued her studies under Howard Fine in Los Angeles in 2006. She also studied at John Rosenfeld Studios. Her nickname is Dimples.
Relationships
Camille Guaty met British songwriter Sy Rhys Kaye in London in 2009, and it was love at first sight for the couple. Within a few months, she visited him in London, and he returned the visit in Los Angeles during the winter holidays, when he also proposed to her. In January 2010, Guaty revealed the news of her engagement to Kaye exclusively to UsMagazine.com. Just over a year later, on April 16, 2011, the couple tied the knot at a private ceremony. They currently reside in Los Angeles, California. They have two pet dogs.
