Brooke Langton was born on November 27, 1970 in Arizona, in the US. Her father Jackson Langton was a geologist while her mother worked as a surgical nurse. Her grandfather Stephen Cummings had served in the World War II as a bomber pilot. She also has an aunt named Sally Spalding who worked as a script supervisor. It was her influence that made Langton decide to be an actress at an early age.
She did her schooling from Herscher High School, and later at L.D. Bell High School. Then she attended San Diego State University for her higher education. After her graduation, she went to Japan where she worked for some time as a model.

Career
In 1992, Brooke Langton began her acting career appearing in episodes of several popular TV shows including ‘Beverley Hills’, ‘90210’, ‘Freshman Dorm’ and ‘Baywatch’. She made her film debut in 1994 in the action film ‘Terminal Velocity’, where she played a minor role of a drug addict. The film, which was directed by Deran Sarafian, was a commercial failure.
She came to popularity in 1996 after she started appearing in the popular TV series ‘Melrose Place’, where she played an important role. In 1998, she played the lead role in the American TV series ‘The Net’. Created by Deborah Pratt, the series was based on a 1995 movie of the same name. The series, however, was cancelled after just one season.
She played her first important role on the big screen in the 2000 movie ‘The Replacements’, which was directed by Howard Deutch. The same year, she also appeared in the comedy film ‘Playing Mona Lisa’, which was directed by Matthew Huffman.
In 2002, she played a supporting role in the movie ‘Kiss the Bride’, which was directed by Vanessa Prime.
