She is best recognized for her regular roles in the drama series ‘Queen Sugar’, ‘Goode Behavior’, ‘Saved by the Bell: The New Class’, ‘Rogue’ and ‘Pretty Little Liars’. She is also known for playing recurring roles in the TV series ‘Sister, Sister’, ‘The Steve Harvey Show’, ‘The Vampire Diaries’, ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager’, ‘Witches of East End’, ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, ‘Dawson's Creek’ and ‘Teen Wolf’. Lawson has done various acting projects on the big screen as well. Her famous movies roles were in ‘Primary Colors’, ‘Save the Last Dance’, ‘Bones’, ‘Breakin' All the Rules’ and ‘Dead & Breakfast’. She has also appeared in a number of direct-to-videos and has even served as a voice actress in her entertainment career.
