April Michelle Bowlby is an American actor, best known for playing ‘Stacy Barrett’ in the American legal comedy–drama/fantasy TV series ‘Drop Dead Diva’ and ‘Kandi’ in the sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men. She started her career with modeling and moved on to films and TV series. Her first small-screen appearance was as an “extra” in the series ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,’ followed by single-episode appearances in other series. She soon bagged the breakthrough role of ‘Kandi’ in ‘Two and a Half Men.’ Her role of ‘Stacy Barrett’ in the popular series ‘Drop Dead Diva’ has earned Bowlby widespread recognition across the globe. She played the recurring role of ‘Rita Farr/Elastigirl’ in the American web series ‘Titans.’ A spin-off of the series, ‘Doom Patrol,’ will see her reprising the character.   • April Michelle Bowlby was born on July 30, 1980, in Vallejo, California, US. Not much is known about her parents, family background, and childhood, except that she relocated with her family to Manteca, California, as a child. There, she studied at the secondary school named ‘East Union High School.’
  • She attended a California state community college named ‘Moorpark College,’ located in Moorpark, in Ventura County, California. There, she studied marine biology, French, and ballet. As a child, she wished to become a ballerina.
