Antonio Sabato Jr. is an Italian-American model, politician and actor. He rose to prominence in the 1990s, appearing in the most popular and successful Calvin Klein underwear campaign ever. As an actor, he is best known for playing Jagger Cates on the TV series ‘General Hospital’ from 1992 to 1995. In recent years, he has managed to garner media attention for his involvement in politics. Born in Rome to an Italian film star Antonio Sabàto Sr. and a realtor from Prague, Antonio grew up alongside his sister. He moved to USA in 1985, eventually becoming a naturalized citizen in 1996. Antonio’s parents are divorced and he has a stepfather. He earned his high school diploma from Los Angeles’ Palisades Charter High School. One of the most popular male models of the 1990s, Antonio has been linked with several women. The talented personality is an auto-racing and fitness enthusiast as well. He has also written a book called ‘No Excuses.’

Career
In 1990, Antonio Sabato Jr. appeared in the music video for Janet Jackson's song "Love Will Never Do (Without You)" alongside actor Djimon Hounsou.
In 1992, he was cast as Jagger Cates in the TV series ‘General Hospital’. A year later, he graced the cover of ‘Playgirl’ for its April issue. That year, he also starred in the TV film ‘Moment of Truth: Why My Daughter?’
The year 1994 saw Antonio cast as Alonzo Solace in ‘Earth 2’, a science fiction series following the journey and resolution of an expeditionary group.
In 1995, he joined the cast of ‘Melrose Place’ as Jack Perezi. The primetime soap opera focussed on the lives of a group of adults residing in West Hollywood’s building complex called Melrose Place. That year, the actor cum model also played Detective Matt Samoni in the TV movie ‘Her Hidden Truth’.
In 1996, he acted in many TV films, including ‘If Looks Could Kill’, ‘Thrill’ and ‘Code Name: Wolverine’. A year later, Antonio acted in Isaac Florentine's direct-to-video action flick 'High Voltage'.
