Amber Scholl is an American YouTuber and social media personality who suddenly rose to fame after posting a budget DIY marble floor video on her YouTube channel in mid-2016. After gaining 300k subscribers within a period of three months, she was interviewed by the 'Beauty and the Vlog' podcast in December 2016. Most recently, she has been in the news for posting DIY videos on making a prom dress out of trash bags and a wedding dress out of toilet paper. A broadcasting student, she always wanted to be a newscaster and during her student years, was an intern at Clevver Media, an Entertainment Correspondent for Blanco Bleu Productions and Maximo TV, a Social Media Manager at oceanup.com, and a Celebrity Host at WMTV. She had originally joined YouTube in October 2011 to share her red carpet interviews for various networks like 'MSN Celebrity', 'American Gentleman Magazine', 'Dailymail Online', and 'WorldMonitor.TV', holding the mic to renowned celebrities such as Kendall Schmidt, Kris Jenner, Chris Harrison, Ciara Bravo, Max Schneider and Emblem3. She has also been an SAG-AFTRA registered actress since October 2014. She currently has 2.1 million subscribers on YouTube and 581k followers on Instagram.
- After completing her graduation, Amber Scholl found it hard to get jobs in the very competitive Los Angeles area. She did a number of odd jobs during this time, including a brief stint in acting, but still was unable to earn enough to support herself. For a while, she ran the Snapchat account for a women's blog titled 'All Women Talk', based in New York. She applied for corporate jobs even though she didn't have much interest in those, and was not lucky enough to get hired either. The only mentionable job she did during this time was to drive for Postmates, but she lost that job as well after she crashed her car on July 4th, 2016. She was literally broke at this point, and as a last-ditch effort, began posting random videos on her YouTube channel, which had earned about 10k subscribers already. Somehow, one of her videos from this time titled 'DIY MARBLE FLOORING', ended up on YouTube homepage and her channel instantly got noticed. People started to go back and watch her other videos on budget friendly hacks, which till then had only a handful of views. She reached 100k subscribers on YouTube within a couple days, and also got a host of new followers on her Instagram and Twitter. Realizing the growth potential of her channel, she decided to quit her other "half-jobs" to concentrate fulltime on YouTube.Recommended Lists:

- What sets Amber Scholl apart from other popular YouTubers is her ability to come up with creative and exciting solutions to everyday problems under a tight budget. While she loved to watch YouTube videos prior to beginning her own journey as a YouTuber, she could hardly afford any of the items shown by most popular YouTubers of the time, which prompted her to share her ideas with the niche audience who were broke like her. She was always a crafty kid, and so DIY videos came naturally to her. The marble floor video that made her famous overnight was actually her attempt at making a cheap selfie station that she wanted for her apartment. She bought vinyl tiles and made marble-like flooring within a budget of $20. She was so amazed at her success that she decided to share the video online and quickly realized that her unique posts can cater to a market not yet tapped.Recommended Lists:
