Aaron Hull is a popular and verified TikTok user. He posted his first video on the platform on June 12, 2019. Set on an audio created by @tacotrucktime, the video shows a 17-year-old Hull fondly reminiscing how “simple” his life used to be when he was 13. On 15 June, he posted a video set to ‘Wait a Minute’ by Willow Smith. He also put Angela Lansbury’s audio ‘Pride and Prejudice’ in a video captioned “Guys I'm never drinking coffe again. I can't straight think hel p." Some of the songs he has used for his content are ‘Blossom at My Feet, Flower’ by Pizzagirl, ‘Chinatown, My Chinatown’ by Louis Prima, and ‘Intergalactic’ by Beastie Boys.

On April 22, 2014, Hull set up his self-titled YouTube channel. However, he did not post anything on it until January 4, 2018. Aaron Hull has known YouTube superstar Emma Chamberlain for a while. In October 2019, rumours started to circulate that the two were dating. Chamberlain uploaded a YouTube video titled ‘Learning How to Skateboard to Impress a Boy’ on November 7, 2019. In it, she spoke about “liking a guy”, and as Hull is a known skateboarder, many of their fans concluded that there was something more than friendship between them. They would often go out together and made appearances in each other’s videos. Hull even reportedly met Chamberlain’s family after travelling with her to her hometown of San Francisco.

In one of his videos, Hull called Chamberlain his celebrity crush, and after a fan enquired if he would ever date her, he answered, “yes”. In January 2020, a video started circulating in which Hull can be heard referring to Chamberlain as “annoying”. A photo, in which Hull can be seen kissing a girl who is definitely not Chamberlain, started making the rounds as well. This led to the fans to believe that Hull was cheating on Chamberlain. On 27 January, Hull put out two tweets in which he clarified that the video was from August when he and Chamberlain had not become friends yet. He added that he did not “cheat on anyone and never would. I have nothing but respect for Emma and our friendship and would never want to jeopardize it.”
