In the 18th century England, owing to reigning monarch Queen Anne’s frail health, her close confidante, Lady Sarah Churchill, runs the political affairs in her stead. The Queen takes a liking to Sarah’s cousin Abigail who joins as servant. While Sarah is occupied with the French war politics, ambitious Abigail seizes opportunity to restore her aristocratic status by working her way to become Queen’s favorite.  

The Lobster is a dark romantic comedy film, which is set in a dystopian era, where single men or women have to find themselves a partner within forty-five days or they are forcibly turned into an animal of their choosing.  

A couple brainwashes their two daughters and adult son to live in a fenced compound with no knowledge of the outside world. The parents claim the children can leave when they lose a dogtooth. The father also arranges for a woman named Christina to have sex with his son. Meanwhile, the eldest daughter plots her escape.

Alps is a drama film which tells the story of a group of actors who start a unique business where in exchange for a fee, they impersonate deceased people in order to help their relatives through the grieving process.

She is unable to relate to her fellow humans, and therefore she spends her time by watching wildlife documentaries of Sir David Attenborough.  Things take a turn when an engineer arrives in her town, and begins working on the steel mill. Marina ends up having her first sexual encounter with the man.
