For her role in the erotic thriller film 'Body Double' (1984), she earned a 'National Society of Film Critics Award'.
She earned critical acclaim for her role in the action comedy 'Something Wild' (1986), and went on to win a 'Golden Globe Award' and an 'Oscar' nomination for the romantic comedy film 'Working Girl' (1988).
