Daley Thompson is a British former athlete who specialized in decathlon. He has won gol medals in decathlon at the 1980 and 1984 Olympics. He also broke the world record for decathlon on four occasions. He also won three Commonwealth titles and is regarded as the greatest decathlete ever.












Ashley Moloney is an Australian track and field athlete who competes predominantly in the decathlon event. Moloney won the gold medal at the 2018 World Junior Championships in Tampere. In 2021, Ashley Moloney became the first Australian athlete to win an Olympic medal in the decathlon event when he secured the bronze medal for his country in Tokyo.







Erki Nool is an Estonian former athlete who specialized in decathlon. He is best known for winning a gold medal at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. The following year, he won a silver medal at the World Championships in Edmonton. Erki Nool has also won gold medals at the European Championships and European Indoor Championships.










Avery Brundage was an American track and field athlete who took part in the 1912 Summer Olympics, competing in the decathlon and pentathlon events. He went on to become an influential figure in the Olympic movement and served as the president of the IOC for two decades. Avery Brundage is remembered for his involvement with Berlin 1936 and Munich 1972.
