Ole Einar Bjørndalen is a Norwegian former biathlete and coach. Nicknamed the King of Biathlon, Bjørndalen has 13 Winter Olympic Games medals under his belt and is second only to Marit Bjørgen, who has 15 medals, in the list of multiple medalists. Having won 45 medals, Ole Einar Bjørndalen is also the most successful biathlete at the Biathlon World Championships.

Johannes Thingnes Bø is a Norwegian biathlete who has won five Olympic gold medals so far. He has also won 12 World Championship gold medals and is the third-most successful male biathlete with 55 individual World Cup wins under his belt. Thanks to his fast skiing and incredible shooting accuracy, Johannes has become the most dominant biathlete in recent past.

At the 2014 Sochi Olympics, Belarusian biathlete Darya Domracheva scripted history as the first female biathlete to win 3 titles at the same Olympic, winning 3 gold medals. She has won 3 more Olympic medals and 6 World Championship medals. While she initially represented Russia, she later switched to Belarus.

Tiril Eckhoff is a Norwegian biathlete best known for winning two Olympic gold medals at the 2014 and 2022 Winter Games. She also has two silver and four Olympic bronze medals under her belt. Tiril Eckhoff has also found immense success at the Biathlon World Championships where she has won 10 gold, two silver, and three bronze medals so far. 

Best known for winning 3 gold medals at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Norwegian biathlete Aleksander Aamodt Kilde has also won 11 World Championship golds and a World Cup overall title. She is also the second biathlete with a medal in all four individual events at the same Olympics.

Tarjei Bo is a Norwegian biathlete best known for winning three Olympic gold medals, which include two medals at the 2022 Olympics. He also has two silver medals and a bronze Olympic medal under his belt. The older brother of Johannes Thingnes Bø, Tarjei Bo has also won 11 gold, two silver, and eight bronze medals at the World Championships.

Anastasiya Kuzmina is a Russian-born Slovak retired biathlete best known for winning three Olympic gold and three silver medals, representing Slovakia. She also won a gold medal at the 2019 World Championships in Östersund, Sweden. Anastasiya Kuzmina also represented Russia and won a gold medal each at the 2003 Youth World Championships and 2005 Junior World Championships.

Known for his 8 Olympic medals, including 4 golds, Norwegian retired biathlete Emil Hegle Svendsen is also known to fans by the nickname Super Svendsen. He also has 5 individual World Championship gold medals. Svendsen is also known for his relationship with popular TV presenter Samantha Skogrand.

Known for his 6 Olympic medals, including 3 golds, Norwegian biathlete Halvard Hanevold had also won 5 gold medals at the World Championships and was associated with the club Asker Skiklubb. Post-retirement, he worked as a commentator for the Norwegian channel NRK. His death at age 49 shook the sporting community.

Tora Berger is a Norwegian former biathlete best known for winning a gold medal each at the 2010 and 2014 Olympics. At the 2014 Olympics, she had also won a silver and bronze medal. After winning a gold medal at the 2011 World Championships, Berger went on to win a combined seven gold medals in the next two World Championships.

Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold is a Norwegian professional biathlete who has won three golds, two silvers, and one bronze medal at the World Championships. She has also won a silver medal and three bronze medals for her country at the European Championships.

Retired Canadian biathlete Myriam Bédard is a 2-time Olympic champion and a former World Champion. The only North American biathlete to win an Olympic gold, she began her career as a junior figure skater but switched to biathlon at 12. In 2007, she was charged with child abduction for violating her child custody agreement.

Johannes Dale is a Norwegian biathlete who was part of the mixed relay team at the 2022 European Championships in Arber where he helped his team win the gold medal. Johannes Dale has also won two silver medals and one bronze medal at the World Championships.

Hanna Sola is a Belarusian biathlete who won a bronze medal at the 2019 European Championships and at the 2021 World Championships. She also represented Belarus at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

Nastassia Kinnunen is a Finnish cross-country skier and biathlete. Born in Haradok, Soviet Union, Kinnunen represented Belarus in international competitions. In 2017, she moved to Finland and was granted Finnish citizenship in 2020. Nastassia Kinnunen has competed in popular events like Winter Olympics and FIS Nordic World Ski Championships.
