Ayub Bachchu was a Bangladeshi singer, songwriter, guitarist, and composer. A rockstar, Bachchu is credited with founding one of the most popular and successful Bangladeshi bands of all time, Love Runs Blind. A pioneer of Bangladeshi Pop music, Bachchu is also counted among the greatest Bangladeshi singers of all time. In 2017, he received the Tele Cine Lifetime Achievement Award.
Sajeeb Wazed is a Bangladeshi politician and businessman. An important member of the Awami League, Wazed is credited with masterminding the Digital Bangladesh initiative. The initiative was part of Awami League's political manifesto, Vision 2021. He also operates a US-based firm called Wazed Consulting Inc., where he is serving as the president.

Iqbal Quadir is a Bangladeshi entrepreneur who is credited with founding Grameenphone in Bangladesh. Quadir founded Grameenphone in an attempt to enhance self-employment opportunities for the poor. He is also credited with founding the Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship. In 2007, he was named by Wharton Alumni Magazine in its 125 Influential People and Ideas list.

Nurul Islam Babul is also remembered as controversy's favorite child; he was arrested on multiple occasions with charges ranging from corruption to murder.
Iresh Zaker is a Bangladeshi actor, musician, and advertising executive. He is currently serving as the managing director of a marketing and advertising company called Asiatic 360, which is owned by his parents, Sara Zaker and Aly Zaker. As an actor, Zaker is best known for winning the National Film Award for his portrayal of Danny in Chuye Dile Mon.

Makbul Hossain was a Bangladeshi businessman and politician. From 14 July 1996 to 13 July 2001, he served as a Member of Parliament for Dhaka-9 constituency. He was an important member of Bangladesh Awami League and recieved several awards throughout his career. He was a recipient of Sher E Bangla National Gold Medal Award and Shahid Bodiujzaman Gold Medal Award.
