Famous Australian Dancers

Australian actor, dancer and singer-songwriter Keiynan Lonsdale is best-known for playing Wally West/Kid Flash in The CW series The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. Other on-screen portrayals of Lonsdale includes Oliver Lloyd in the series Dance Academy and Uriah Pedrad in film The Divergent Series: Insurgent. He has also released the studio-album Rainbow Boy and worked as an MTV VJ.  

Dianne Buswell is an Australian dancer best known for showcasing her dancing skills in the popular British TV show, Strictly Come Dancing. After starting her training in ballroom dance at the age of four, Dianne Buswell began participating in shows like So You Think You Can Dance Australia, Burn the Floor, and Dancing with the Stars.

Craig Revel Horwood is an Australian-British dancer, choreographer, author, theatre director, conductor, and former drag queen. Also a TV personality, Horwood is best known for appearing as a judge on the British television dance contest, Strictly Come Dancing. Craig Revel Horwood has also released three autobiographies by joining hands with Michael O'Mara Books.

Australia’s beloved Yellow Wiggle, Emma Watkins grew up trained as a classical dancer and later became the first female member of the Australian dance group the Wiggles. She also completed a film studies course on a scholarship. Emma is an Endometriosis Australia ambassador, having suffered the ailment herself.  

Kym Johnson began training in dance at age 3 and graduated to ballroom dance at age 13. She soared to fame after winning season 2 of the Australian reality show Dancing with the Stars. Once part of competitive ballroom dancing, she is now also famous for her fitness DVDs.

Jonathan Guerreiro is a professional ice dancer who won the silver medal at the 2018 NHK Trophy where he represented Russia along with his skating partner Tiffany Zahorski. A three-time medalist at the Russian Figure Skating Championships, Jonathan Guerreiro also won the bronze medal at the 2018 Skate America.

Sam Rybka is an acrobat athlete, who, alongside her twin sister, Teagan, competed in the reality competition show Australia's Got Talent in 2013. The girls performed a contortionist act in the show and made it to the semi-finals. They have a highly popular YouTube channel called The Rybka Twins.
