He recently competed for Adria Mobil, a Continental cycling team. In 2018, Janez Brajkovic was banned for over a year after testing positive in an anti-doping test. He rejoined Team Adria Mobil after serving his ban.
Jure Robič was a Slovenian cyclist who achieved popularity for his multiple wins in the solo category of Race Across America. A five-time winner of the prestigious Race Across America, Jure Robič suffered a head-on collision when he hit an oncoming car during a training session in Plavški Rovt and died at the age of 45 on 24 September 2010.
