In 2009, she won the Vienna Fashion Award under the Style Icon category. She previously held the Guinness world record for having the longest legs for any female model.

Hungarian-origin Slovak actor Vica Kerekes started her career with the Slovak movie Konečná stanica. Also known as Vica, she later soared to fame with her award-winning roles in films such as Ki/Be Tawaret and Seven Days of Sin. She also appeared in the popular Slovak-Czech series Odsúdené.





Slovak politician Milan Kňažko, who has been associated with the Public against Violence movement and the Velvet Revolution, or Gentle Revolution, is also a fine actor.
