Uriah Shelton is an American actor and singer best known for portraying ‘Jeff Cargill’ in the popular crime-drama series ‘The Glades.’ Shelton is also famous for portraying ‘Joshua Matthews’ in the comedy series ‘Girl Meets World.’ After starting his acting career at the age of 10, Shelton went on to play the lead in the feature film ‘Lifted.’ He is also a popular web-series actor and is currently playing an important role in a web series titled ‘Blue.’ Shelton is also an aspiring singer and hopes to make it big in the music industry. He is also a trained martial artist. He won the 2006 ‘ATA California State Championship,’ a major “Tae Kwon Do” championship in the US.

  • Uriah Shelton made his acting debut in the year 2007, when he was cast in the TV drama series ‘Without a Trace.’ In the same year, Shelton was cast as ‘Young William’ in the TV series ‘The Ghost Whisperer.’

  • In 2017, Shelton was accused of kicking a female friend in the stomach. The girl, whose name was not revealed, stated that the kick had left her with bruises and inflamed intestines. Following this, Shelton was issued with a restraining order.
  • Shelton had a long-standing feud with his ‘Girl Meets World’ co-star Rowan Blanchard. It all began when Shelton and Rowan started expressing their respective views on topics such as feminism and racism. Their political differences and their conflicting comments led to a marked feud between the two.

Personal Life
  • Uriah Shelton met with a motorcycle accident when he was in his early teens. Six of his teeth were broken, and he had minor lacerations on his face. He also suffered a broken femur, and a part of his large intestine was removed. The accident changed Shelton’s perspective on life.
  • Shelton owns two dogs, Ningbo and Archer. He also had a dog named Libby in the past. He has a hamster and has built a biker-themed habitat for his new pet. He loves getting inked and has a patriotic tattoo on the right side of his chest.
