When Toby Turner expressed his desire to make a career as a YouTuber, his mother wholeheartedly supported his dreams. At that, moment she did not have enough money to buy him a camera, so that he could make videos and hence took a loan. Toby appreciated this gesture of his mother and started making videos with extreme dedication. On 14 June 2006, he opened his main YouTube channel called, ‘Tobuscus’ which had the masses going gaga over his work. With over 6 million subscribers on this channel, Toby sure is one of the most popular YouTube stars. Toby also tapped into his other talent and decided to boost his popularity with these talents too. He then started his own online gaming channel, a vlog channel, and also owns a channel on iTunes. ‘I Can Swing My Sword’, ‘Safety Torch’ and ‘Dramatic Song’ are some of his most popular songs. He also has an amazing sense of humor that has people coming back to his channel like a magnet.

He made his big-screen debut in the 2012 romantic comedy film ‘New Low’ directed by Adam Bowers. The film saw its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and received mostly positive reviews from critics. That same year, he also starred as ‘Mark’ in the slasher film ‘Smiley.’ He went on to appear in films such as ‘The Great Gilly Hopkins,’ ‘Bob Thunder: Internet Assassin,’ ‘Why Him?’ and ‘The F*** Happened.’ He has also been a part of television series like ‘The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange,’ ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,’ and ‘American Dad!’ He also has released 2 videogames named “Tobuscus Adventures: Wizards!” and  "Mine The Diamond." Both games were released on Android and iOS.

Toby is not any other YouTuber on the block who only has a specific genre of videos to offer. He is an all-rounder in the true sense of the word, you name it and he can do it. From acting in films and television series to singing and making videos, Toby is a pro at all of them. He has also created a very popular web series called, ‘CuteWinFail’ along with a fellow YouTuber, Philip DeFranco. Toby is one of those few people who are a jack of all and also a master of all.

Toby Tuner has been accused of rape and sexual assault by another fellow YouTuber, April Efff. She wrote a huge, heart-wrenching Tumblr post on her dreadful experience with this infamous YouTuber. Amelia Talon, an ex of the YouTuber also spoke up and said that she was forced to take drugs during her relationship with Turner. While this was enough proof of Tuner’s unacceptable activities, Clare Lourdes a popular YouTuber said, "I have made peace with my time with Toby and don't wish to discuss it in detail, as is my choice". She continued "however, I can say that my time with him has given me the experience and perspective to believe their accounts is absolutely true." The YouTuber initially did not respond to any of these accusations, instead his mother spoke up in his stead.

In 2016, Turner released a short Youtube video where he refuted all the allegations made by April. In June 2018, he came out with another video where he gave his version of the story. According to Turner, he only helped April to stay the night at his house as it was late and she was scared to go home. He went on to state that she wanted a relationship with him while he wanted to keep it to a friendship. Turner also claimed that April had previously hinted at posting a fake rape allegation on Tumblr.

Turner was born to William and Jackie Turner in Mississippi on 3 March 1985 and grew up in Niceville, Florida, United States. He graduated with a degree in ‘telecommunication production’ from the ‘University of Florida’. He has 2 siblings, a sister named Angie, and a brother named Billy.
