Tanner Zagarino began his journey to social media stardom in July 2012 when he set up his Twitter page. He posted for the first time on Instagram in December that year. By early 2013, he had relocated to North Fork, New York and had become more active on social media. It did not take him long after that to garner a considerable following on Instagram.

These days, anyone can become a celebrity and they can do so in a variety of ways. In November 2013, he appeared in the music video for Alli Simpson’s ‘Notice Me’, which effectively exposed him to a large audience. Over the course of the ensuing two years, Zagarino established himself as an Instagram model, and by 2015, he was earning over $15,000 a month from his social media engagements.

His fans are predominantly teens and tween girls. Zagarino is neither a singer, nor a comedian or a performer, and during various social media events, his job is primarily to engage the crowd and sign merchandise. He has fans all across the globe and they have travelled from as far as Colombia and France to attend these events and interact with him!

In 2013, he had signed with a modeling agency but later terminated that contract believing he could be more successful online. However, he later signed with another agency, called Wilhelmina Models. He also started working with manager Kyle Santillo of KM Creative.

Zagarino collaborated with Speakr, a company that utilizes a special algorithm to pair up influencers with brands for ad campaigns. He has promoted fashion brands, such as Aeropostale and Old Navy, believing that it would draw the attention of his young audience. He has also been involved in ad campaigns for a fitness app and numerous other fashion products that he had found to be interesting. Furthermore, during this period, he teamed up with AwesomenessTV, which is a digital video network presently owned by Viacom, to accumulate more subscribers on his YouTube channel.

In a 2015 interview with Macworld, Santillo had revealed that Zagarino was planning to cut down on branded social media posts and focus more on developing his YouTube channel and do more fashion editorial work. Despite this, he has not been active on YouTube for over two years and his fashion blogging website seems to have been deactivated. He still regularly posts updates on his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Personal Life

Tanner Zagarino was born on October 19, 1998, in Los Angeles, California, to Elizabeth Giordano and Frank Zagarino. He has an older brother, Frank, Jr. and a younger half-brother named Colton through his father. Both of his parents had been models and actors when they were young. Elizabeth Giordano has appeared in films, such as ‘The Revenger’ (1990), ‘Warhead’ (1996), ‘Shattered Lies’ (2002) and ‘Spiker’ (2007). She has also portrayed various characters in TV shows like ‘Married with Children’ and ‘L.A. Heat’ (1997-99). Furthermore, she served as an executive producer of her film ‘Spiker’. At present, she works as a fitness consultant.

At the height of his career, Frank Zagarino was one of the most popular B-movie stars in Hollywood. He was active in the industry for about 25 years and has portrayed several memorable characters, including Argan in ‘Barbarian Queen’ (1985), Android in the ‘Project Shadowchaser’ film series, Frank White in ‘Airboss’ series, Ryan Young in ‘Shattered Lies’, Adam Brandis in ‘Spiker’, and Franco in ‘Little Bear and the Master.’ He has also directed and produced several projects. Zagarino has been a personal trainer for over three decades and is currently associated with the Maximus Health and Fitness gym, located at Riverhead, New York.

After graduating from Mattituck High School where he was an all-county wrestler, Tanner Zagarino started attending the University of Pittsburgh as part of the class of 2021. He is the 2017 New York State wrestling tournament winner.
