Sam became active on the internet with his Instagram account. He started off by posting his own pictures without using any photo effects or filters. This was considered out of the ordinary by many as most of the users would prefer to add filters to their photos. Sam’s unedited selfies started gaining attention and in no time, he became a star.

Sam Dezz kept posting selfies on his account and his number of followers reached 998,000. Though Sam advocated ‘natural beauty’ through his pictures, he never commented anything against those who preferred posting edited pictures. Sam created much hype for not following suit. The popularity that he achieved on Instagram made him step into the world of YouTube. Many of his followers too, requested him to create a YouTube channel.

Soon Sam started using YouTube but he did not create a separate channel for himself. Instead, he joined the Sunset Park group that had already created hype by then. Sunset Park comprises a group of boys who post a variety of entertaining content on YouTube. They became famous for their cringe-worthy prank and challenge videos. Sam appeared on YouTube for the first time, along with Sunset Park. In the video, he was seen taking up the ‘Eat It or Wear It’ challenge.

He became famous for appearing in tough challenges. In one of his challenge videos, he was literally covered with whipped cream when he failed to guess the lyrics of a song. In another challenge, Sam was covered with tomato ketchup when he failed to answer a few questions. In the challenge, the questions were posed by the members of Sunset Park, and the one who gets the answers wrong or fails to answer needed to choose from a variety of sauces in order to get covered by the chosen sauce.

He has also done a video for Sunset Park in which he spoke about his journey on the internet. Apart from this, he has uploaded his ‘Q and A video series’ on Sunset Park’s channel and has also taken up one of the most famous challenges on the internet, ‘The Whisper Challenge’. He has appeared in many of the videos, posted by the members of Sunset Park on their respective channels. Sam has also appeared in a couple of videos, posted by fellow YouTube stars like Alexander BOK.

Sam Dezz once posted a story time video in which he shared an incident that had left him with a bruise. While running down the stairs, chasing his cute little puppy, he hit the concrete floor hard and ended up with a bruise. In 2017, he created his own self-titled YouTube channel where he mostly posts short-form videos for over 460k subscribers. He has also garnered much fame on TikTok where he entertains millions with his POVs, lip-sync performances, and dance videos. He has also appeared on Brooke Monk’s Youtube channel on more than one occasion. Both he and Brooke were also seen on ‘The Good Boys Podcast’ in March 2022.

Sam Dezz was born on December 5, 2001, in the United States of America. He spent some of his childhood days in California until his family moved to Virginia. He has a younger brother named Joe and an older sister, Hannah. Hannah once appeared in one of Sam’s videos. Sam is of mixed origin and can fluently speak English and Spanish. Sam is an avid soccer fan. His favorite television show is ‘13 Reasons Why’. As mentioned earlier, Sam is a pet lover and owns two pups and a dog named Sky. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius.
