Phil Laak is a California-based professional poker player and poker commentator, originally from Ireland. He holds the World Series of Poker bracelet as well as the World Poker Tour title. He held the world record of the longest time spent playing poker in a single session as of 2010. He is widely known as the "Unabomber" in the poker scene because of the sunglasses and hooded sweatshirt he dons at the game table, making him look like the forensic sketch of American mathematician and domestic terrorist, Theodore Kaczynski. Known for his unusual and creative manner of speech, the Irish poker player has also appeared on several television shows. He has appeared in the television movie ‘Knight Rider’ where he was credited as "Poker Pro". He also co-hosted MOJO network’s show ‘I Bet You’. Laak owns his own poker site called ‘Unabomber Poker’. Being a member of the Cake Poker Network, this site features cartoon style graphics and is very eye-catching.
