Melody Thomas Scott, born as Melody Ann Thomas, is an American actress best recognized for playing the role of Nikki Newman in the drama series ‘The Young and the Restless’. She has also guest-starred in a number of TV shows, such as ‘Wagon Train’, ‘Ironside’, ‘Code R’, ‘Charlie's Angels’, ‘Makin' It’, ‘The King of Queens’ and ‘The Crazy Ones’.   • Melody Thomas Scott first appeared as a child in the 1964 flick ‘Marnie’. After this, she appeared in an episode each of ‘Wagon Train’ and ‘Ironside’. In 1971, she did the flick ‘The Beguiled’. Four years later, the actress appeared as Laurie in the movie ‘Posse’. Soon after this, she got featured in the film ‘The Shootist’. In 1977 and 1978, Scott had roles in the movies ‘The Car’, ‘The Fury’ and ‘Piranha’ as well as in the TV programs ‘The Waltons’ and ‘Charlie's Angels’.
  • In 1979, she joined the cast of the series ‘The Young and the Restless’ as Nikki Newman. That year, she also guest-starred in the shows ‘Makin' It’, ‘Billy’ and ‘The Rockford Files’. After this, Scott did the TV movie ‘The Scarlett O'Hara War’.
