The Meteoric Rise to Stardom

Meghan was introduced to the world of voice-overs when she was just three years old. She did an advertisement for the family’s company and has been in this field since then. Meghan’s most famous videos on YouTube are ‘Talk in Your Real Voice’ and ‘Cartoon Voice Impressions.’ She has also written ‘Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends’, ‘Class of 3000’, and ‘Fish Hooks.’ In 2010 Lauren Faust gave Meghan the opportunity to help write on Hasbro's television revival of its ‘My Little Pony’ franchise. The third season onward she was promoted to co-executive producer and also worked as the show’s story editor. Besides this she wrote for and acted in advertisements for big companies such as Coca-Cola, Tic Tac, Oral B, Burger King, Pringles and others. Her videos on social networks landed her with voice-over jobs, which particularly made her portray fast-talking teenagers. She recently did a voice-over for the world’s largest manufacturer of two-wheelers- Honda.

What Makes Meghan So Special

The 24-year-old gives the utmost importance to being herself. She had to put up with a lot of bullying for her high-pitched voice but that didn’t deter her from pursuing a career as a voice-over artist. Meghan makes people laugh and she does it with a lot of conviction. She is calm and composed and also gives people the opportunity to know her personally. Meghan was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania and graduated from Auburn University with a degree in theater. She is the sister of Kaila McCarthy and Bridget McCarthy. She dated Joey Ahern who is also a Viner. Meghan posted a YouTube video in 2014 that made fun of what it was like to live with Joey. The relationship ended in 2016. In a video titled ‘Did We Break Up’ Meghan reveals that she and Joey have parted ways and that’s the best for Joey and her. She says that break-ups are a part of life though they are not the fun part and she wants everyone to get “the best person possible for them.” Meghan adds that the reason behind her breakup was the fact that she did not feel like she was the best that she could be. She says “sometimes the hardest things and the right things are the same”.
