Cleave was always interested in dancing. As she grew up, she wanted to display her skills to others. She then came across the TikTok app, which was fast becoming popular among aspiring dancers and singers. Cleave started following many TikTok stars and keenly observed all their dubsmash, lip-sync and dance videos. Cleave was impressed by a particular TikTok star, Gabbie Hanna. Cleave decided to follow in her footsteps and created her own TikTok account.

She created the account along with her boyfriend Alex VanCleave. He too, is a TikTok personality and a pro in video creating and editing. They soon began posting their dance and lip-sync videos on the account and in no time, they gained a huge fan following. Cleave’s acting career commenced with a cameo role in a film. She then went on to appear in a web series as well.
She starred as Linda in the horror flick, ‘Lord of Tears,’ which is also known as ‘The Owlman.’ She also starred in a couple of episodes in the first season of the web series, ‘Fins of Twins’. She played the character of Skyler Fins in both the episodes, which were titled as ‘Phase 2 Mermaids’ and ‘Something Fishy.’ The web series was produced by Starlite Productions and aired on its self-titled YouTube channel.

LJ Cleave was born on February 14, 1994, in Kirkcaldy, Scotland. Her middle name is Hunter. She has two brothers named Robin Kane and Roxy. Robin Kane too, is a TikTok star. Cleave has a sister as well.
Cleave graduated from Fife College, Scotland, with a major in musical theatre. During her college days, she worked as a care assistant and facilitator to adults and children with learning disabilities.
Cleave loves animals. She owns two pets - a dog named Jacob and a cat named Lacey. She also takes care of her grandmother’s dog, a Chihuahua named Broody. Cleave is very close to her grandmother and often stays with her. Cleave loves pets, so much so that her future plans include opening a hotel for pets. She wants to open the hotel to make sure that people don’t leave their pets in a shelter home.
Cleave is a creative person. In her free time, she either teaches a few dance steps to kids or indulges herself in art and craft work. She also enjoys making bows. Her favorite superhero is Thor. Cleave’s favorite book is ‘Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.’
