Kyle Gott Bio

In 2005, while in early teens, Gott was delighted to have his first tape-based camcorder and in no time he landed up in the world of YouTube. He embarked on posting videos on this video-sharing website and created various channels while advancing with upgraded cameras. In October 2011, he started his present channel ‘Kyle Gott’. Keeping his passion alive, he followed his heart to serve the country, particularly after witnessing the ill-effects of September 11, 2001, terrorist attack on ‘Twin Towers’ when he was in 4th grade. In such pursuit he resolved to join the military. Determined to join the Air Force, this young man landed up in Military Entrance Processing Station in Iowa and obtained 82 in the multiple-aptitude battery ASVAB, but a vision test revealing his partial colour blindness wiped out his chance from 80% of the jobs he was qualified for. With the zeal to serve his nation he finally became an Aircraft Structural Maintainer in the United States Air Force. In his YouTube channel ‘Kyle Gott’ he shares posts associated with his life and experience in the United States Air Force, starting from the very first day.

Although his early posts in YouTube didn’t find much attention garnering only 16 subscribers in the first year, this couldn’t dampen the spirit of this young man who kept on uploading new posts. Eventually his posts grabbed attention and presently his YouTube channel boasts of having a count of over 90,000 subscribers. On June 30, 2014, he uploaded a video titled ‘SINGLE MILITARY PAY’ that has emerged among his most popular ones and has already crossed 350,000 views. Gaining popularity with YouTube, Gott embarked into Vlogging with his wife, Makenna Gott, on November 14, 2014 and started posting videos on their life and activities. Presently, their channel ‘GottLove’ has over 45,000 subscribers and more than 5,440,000 views. On August 24, 2016, he came to know of his promotion as Staff Sergeant, a post that he will take up in any time between May to August 2017.

Kyle Gott was born on May 30, 1991, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, US. He attended Alburnett High School, Cedar Rapids Washington High School and Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School and graduated from the latter in 2010. Thereafter, for the next couple of years he intermittently attended the Kirkwood Community College while serving the food industry before leaving for a career in Air Force. His journey with YouTube landed him up meeting his future wife, Makenna, who sent him a Facebook message after viewing his videos. Gradually, the two started bonding online and met for the first time in May 2014 when they got engaged. They later married in November 2014.
