Jojo Siwa, also known as Joelle Joanie Siwa, is an American social media star, dancer, actress, and singer. She was the youngest contestant to participate in the second series of Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition and she gained popularity when she appeared in the fifth-sixth season of Dance Moms reality show. She has also enacted in skits for Nickelodeon’s Not-So-Valentine Special as a guest artist. Her first song, Boomerang, went viral on YouTube and also won her the prestigious RIAA: Gold certifications. Her songs are very motivating and vocal against online bullying. She is also a successful entrepreneur and sells her merchandise and accessories at retail stores and through online stores. Jojo Siwa started to dance at a tender age of 5 initially at her mother’s dance school. Her talent became evident to the world when she competed in AUDC (Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition) as the youngest of the lot and she ranked among top 5 of the finalists, but got eliminated within a week.
JoJo Siwa didn’t get disheartened and started to audition for Abby Lee Miller’s ALDC and got selected in 2015. Simultaneously in 2015-2016, Jojo Siwa and her mom started to appear in the reality show Dance Moms 5th-6th season and went on to win the show.While performing in this show she got selected in Abby Lee Dance company’s elite team, replacing Chloe.

Jojo Siwa was born on May 19, 2003, at Omaha, Nebraska, to Tom Siwa and Jessalynn Siwa. Her father, Tom, is a Chiropractor at Northwest Chiropractic and her mother, Jessalynn, runs her own dance school. Her mother is very supportive and has also performed with her at numerous reality shows.
