Jessica Marie Garcia began her TV career with the show ‘Huge’ in 2010. It was based on the young adult novel of the same name. The drama revolved around eight teens who are sent to a summer weight loss camp named Camp Victory. Garcia appeared in eight episodes of the series. In 2012, she appeared in a TV movie named ‘County.’

In 2013, she earned much fame for her role of Winifred “Willow” Cruz in the comedy TV series ‘Liv and Maddie’. She played the best friend and teammate of the titular character, Maddie. It was about a girl named Liv Rooney, who, after a successful career in Hollywood, returns home to live a normal life. She is welcomed by Maddie, her twin sister, who is a tomboy with a passion for basketball. The series revolved around Liv trying to live a normal life. The show was a big hit and received mostly positive critical reception. It also won awards such as the ‘Kids Choice Award Mexico’.

In 2015, she was seen in the all-girls comedy show ‘BETCH’. She also had a recurring role of a wrestler in the sitcom ‘The Middle’. The show was about a lower middle class family which is facing day-to-day struggles in the daily management of work and family-related responsibilities. It was met with positive reviews and also won several awards and nominations. Garcia played her role for four seasons.

In 2017, she had an important role in the feature film ‘Avenge the Crows’. It was directed by Nathan Gabaeff. She then bagged a role in the TV series ‘On My Block’, which started airing in March 2018 on Netflix. The show is about a group of four teens, whose friendship is tested as they enter high school. Garcia portrayed Jasmine, a classmate of the group. The series was much appreciated by critics.
