Jarvis Johnson Bio

Jarvis Johnson created his first YouTube channel, Jarvis Johnson, in October 2006 and released his first video titled “Work This Out Dance - High School Musical 2” in late 2007. Johnson was in high school when he started out on YouTube and hence wasn’t very particular with his videos. It wasn’t until 2017 that he started making content full-time. Jarvis Johnson garnered fame for his tech-related videos, rants, and review content with his most-watched video being “5-Minute Crafts Is The Worst Channel on YouTube” which he released in March 2018.

In October 2018, he came out with his second channel, THEY ACTUALLY ANIMATED MY STORY. The channel is one of Johnson’s more unique creations, as he hosts animated videos that recite original and entertaining tales on this channel. Johnson launched his third channel, Jarvis Johnson! GOLD, in July 2019. He mostly posts reviews on his new channel wherein he comically roasts some of the less-sensible articles and videos posted on the internet. In many of his videos, he also takes comical jibes at popular celebrities and content creators.

In March 2021, Johnson created his fourth channel, Jarvis Johnson! LIVE. He has dedicated his new channel to reaction videos that entertain over 120k subscribers. Around the same time, he also came out with his gaming channel named Jarvis Johnson! Pro. His gameplay content majorly centers around the widely popular sandbox video game Minecraft. Johnson is also active on Twitch and has accrued a decent following on the platform for streaming “Just Chatting” content. He also occasionally streams Fall Guys on Twitch.

Johnson has also collaborated with fellow YouTube star Jordan Adika. The duo runs 2 channels together named Sad Boyz Podcast and Sad Boyz. They also host the website https://sadboyzpod.com where they promote their podcast show. Johnson has also shared the screen with other creators such as Kurtis Conner, CharlieMarlieTV, and Mayuko

Johnson has been a 2-time ‘Streamy Award’ nominee and has also been nominated for the ‘Shorty Award.’ In 2021, he was also named in Forbes' "30 under 30" list of the most influential people. The same year, famous creators Rhett and Link acquired a stake in Johnson’s umbrella company via their production brand, Mythical Entertainment.

In 2020, famous content creator Dhar Mann posted a video titled “Mom ACCUSES Her Son's Black Friend Of Stealing, INSTANTLY REGRETS IT! | Dhar Mann.” Soon after, Johnson shared a reaction video where he lambasted Dhar Mann’s video as "cringy" and called it morally questionable. As the video went viral, the actress playing the mother came to defend Dhar Mann and claimed that the video tried to give out a good message. Johnson has often roasted Dhar Mann and even developed a video game named Dhar Mann bingo.

Jarvis Johnson was born on May 5, 1992, in the United States. He completed schooling at the Eastside High School in Gainesville, Florida, and later enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology where he studied Computer Science. Jarvis once said that he does not know his father. His zodiac sign is Taurus.

Johnson worked several jobs before he became a YouTuber. He served as a student assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology where he also worked as a teaching assistant. He has interned at big-time tech corporations such as Google, Yelp, and Radiant Systems. Johnson also worked as a senior software engineer at Patreon where he was later promoted to Engineering Manager.

He is a dog person and has a pet dog named Dipper. According to him, he can’t hold his liquor. He suffers from anxiety and also has Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. He previously dated Sadie Kuwano and even featured her into some of his videos. However, the couple parted ways in November 2020. Johnson announced his break up on Twitter.
